WAX BBY 2.0

Today we are introducing you to a new WAX BBY.

Over the past five years, we’ve matured. Our inspirations grew wider, scent palette developed, and recipes perfected. What was once a happy accident, is now a meaningful business. WAX BBY deserved a new look to match the growth.

This unexpected year has given us time to reflect on what WAX BBY means to us and what the future looks like. You’ll notice two big differences in WAX BBY—our vessel design, and our wax blend.

Vessel Design
Last year we started incorporating tins into our line of products. We quickly fell in love with how portable the tins vessels were. They are perfect for throwing in your bag on your way over to a friend’s house, the airport or the park. The entire main collection will now be poured in a variety of earth-tone tins—charcoal, sage, rose, and cream. Each candle is sealed with a side label—simplified with only the necessary information. The candles are ready to be ripped, cut, torn, or twisted open. However you like. It’s your ritual.

Candle Formula
Not only has the physical appearance of WAX BBY changed, so has our formula. We started with soy wax because of it’s incredibly long and clean burn time. This year however, we have decided to incorporate beeswax into every candle. Our beeswax is American refined and also burns clean. The scent is as strong as ever and now, the wax won’t melt on hot days when the candle is not lit—again making it easier to travel with.

There will be more surprises and developments in the coming months. Until then, we hope you like the new and improved WAX BBY—we sure do.
